Food4U opens on a Tuesday each week between 10am and 12pm. Supporters who have donated food in the past but have been unable to continue to do so have been giving money instead which allows us to buy food and toiletries to supplement donated items. All donations are welcome.
These sessions are attended by people in need of food from the Sutton Coldfield area and are usually referred to us by organisations like the Job Centre, Social Services, Homestart, etc.
The needs of people vary depending upon their situation. We, hopefully, also provide some advice, encouragement and support in addition to the food.
Our team are all volunteers – we have no paid staff.
